This was originally called the Plaid of Christmas Socks, because we have hand painted yarn for the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future. In The Christmas Carol, Scrooge’s encounter with each ghost was very connected to the others. I wanted a pattern that used all 3 of these beautiful sparkly yarns in an interconnected pattern. I used a mosaic motif, and loved the end result! The finished sock is not terribly stretchy, so take this into consideration when you knit!
My friend Amanda used some bright citrus colors and they really look lovely! Hmmm, maybe red, white and blue next?
One third skeins of each of the 3 Christmas Ghosts are available as a kit.
