Sat. Nov 7th, 10 am
This class is for those who have learned the basics of crochet and are ready for the next step up in their skills! Learn to create beautiful granny squares for hats, scarves or afghans. Class is Saturday, November 7th at 10:00 am. Yarn (Worsted Weight) & hooks (Size G or H) will be available for purchase. Skills Needed: Chain, slip stitch, double crochet stitch.
Thurs. Nov. 12th, 6 pm
If you’d like to learn how to knit socks OR if you want to brush up your sock knitting skills, OR take your knitting to a new level, this class is for you! Class is Thursday, November 12th at 6:00 pm. This class will use The Magic Loop Method, DK weight yarn and produce a small sock to take you through all the aspects of knitting a sock. Yarn (1 skein of Bo Peep DK) & US size 3-40 inch cable needles will be available for purchase. Skills Needed: Must know how to cast on, knit & purl. Knit 2 together (k2tog), purl 2 together (p2tog) and slip slip knit (ssk) will be used so it will be easier if you familiarize yourself with these but not required to sign up.
Sweater Class (Coming Soon!)
Jan & Feb, 2027 – 4 classes
Have you always wanted to knit your own sweater but been scared? We’ll lead you through it! We’ll be meeting 4 times in January & February, 2027 to knit Tin Can Knits’ Flax Sweater in Worsted/Aran weight yarn. We’ll lead you through all the steps of knitting a sweater from figuring out your gauge to the sleeves and everything in between. Check back soon for sign-ups!
