Brown County Fiber Arts is our educational side of our business. We offer classes throughout the year. Please sign up ahead of time so we can ensure a teacher is available. Private lessons are $20 per half hour.

First Knit Hat Class – Have you learned to knit & purl but are wanting to increase your skills? In this class you’ll learn how to join and knit in the round, how to knit ribbing, how to do simple horizontal stripes and how to make a pom-pom. We’ll be making a baby size hat to make the most of our time to together. Yarn to make your hat is included in the class price, you just need to bring size 7 double pointed needles (or you can purchase them when you arrive). The class is Saturday, July 18th at 10:00 am – 12:00 noon.
Ghostie Crochet-Along – Come crochet a cute little ghostie with us! Our talented Amanda will help with some assistance to make sure you’re on the right track on the pattern so this crochet-along requires some prior knowledge of crochet skills. Enough yarn will be supplied for you to make 1 ghostie. Please bring a size G crochet hook or you can purchase one in the shop beforehand.
Beginning Knit Class – Knitting is a fun hobby! Come learn from our dedicated teachers. Class is on Saturday, September 5, at 10:00 AM. Needles and yarn will be available for purchase at time of class.
Granny Square Crochet Class – This class is for those who have learned the basics of crochet and are ready for the next step up in their skills! Learn to create beautiful granny squares for hats, scarves or afghans. Class is Saturday, November 7th at 10:00 am. Yarn & hooks will be available for purchase.
